School of Health Sciences

Training compassionate, competent healthcare professionals, clinical officers, and public health epidemiologists dedicated to serving Highland and rural Kenyan communities.

Clinical Mentorship: Health Sciences curricula, skills laboratory training, and clinical rotation oversight are guided by the Kisii University School of Health Sciences in collaboration with regional health regulatory authorities.

Compassionate Clinical Excellence...

The School of Health Sciences addresses the pressing need for skilled clinical healthcare workers across Western Kenya. Through an evidence-based medical curriculum, students master patient assessment, pharmacology, emergency triage, maternal-child health, and surgical nursing. Rigorous classroom theory is reinforced with patient-centered bedside training under experienced consultant physicians and clinical preceptors.

Preventive Health & Community Outreach...

True health extends beyond hospital wards. Our scholars engage directly with rural communities through immunization campaigns, public sanitation drives, reproductive health education, and epidemic surveillance. Students learn to address social determinants of health and disease prevention in agricultural environments.
