Scholarships & Financial Aid

Ensuring no qualified scholar is locked out of higher education: comprehensive guidance on Government HEF scholarships, HELB tuition loans, and county bursary support.

National Student Funding Model: Financial aid for government-sponsored students is allocated by the Universities Fund (UF) and the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) via the national portal at www.hef.co.ke.

Higher Education Within Reach...

Nyamira University College is dedicated to educational equity. We recognize that financial barriers often prevent deserving young scholars from reaching their full potential. Our Student Welfare and Financial Aid Desk assists prospective and enrolled students to identify, apply for, and maintain tuition bursaries, government scholarships, and student loan facilities.

Anti-Fraud & Payment Caution...

Scholarship and loan applications through the official Government HEF portal and Nyamira County bursary committees are completely free. Nyamira University College does not charge any processing fee for financial aid assistance. Beware of fraudulent agents claiming to guarantee bursaries or scholarship bands in exchange for cash.
